Digital Single-Lens Reflex Camera Concept of the Day: Industrial design student Yaniv Berg reimagines the DSLR by fusing the camera’s lens and body together into a singular periscope shaped device that reinvents both form and function.
In a daring move to move the camera aesthetic itself forward, the form, the holding position, all of that, Berg took a tip from old reflex cameras where the eyepiece was on TOP of the camera rather than at the back. These cameras make the photographer cradle the cam to their stomach during the process, creating an entirely different experience than holding it up to their face.

Testimony of the Day: 4chan founder Christopher “Moot” Poole recently took the stand at the behest of Federal prosecutors to identify records that linked 4chan user David Kernell to the hacking of Sarah Palin’s e-mail account in 2008.
The Smoking Gun managed to get its hands on court documents which show Moot’s testimony to be as lulzy as expected.

UPS Was Founded By Two Teenagers With One Bicycle and $100 Borrowed from a Friend
The date was August 28, 1907 and the two kids were 18 year old Claude Ryan and 19 year old Jim Casey. The two had one bike between them and $100 borrowed from a friend to found the “American Messenger Company” in Seattle, Washington. The company was initially run in a hotel basement at Second Avenue and Main Street in Seattle.
Returning to their roots, in 2008, UPS began hiring bike delivery workers in Vancouver, Washington and various cities in Oregon.
