When my friends and I were 14, we had zines and read Sassy. Tavi Gevinson is totally taking this to the next level… Love it!

Kids Launch The Darndest Magazines of the Day: So apparently precocious style rookie Tavi Gevinson (who, you may enjoy being reminded, is only 14 years old) is starting a magazine with Jane Pratt, the founding editor of defunct cult teen magazine Sassy.
“Of course, it won’t be Sassy (or the rebirth of Sassy, or Sassy 2.0) and nor do we want it to be,” Gevinson writes on her blog. “For one, you can’t try to recreate something that good. For another, while I can read old issues of Sassy and relate, the world has changed a bit in the past 15 or so years, and that whole Internet thing happened, and this world calls for something different.”
Not-Sassy will have a “‘for the people, by the people’ kinda vibe,” Gevinson elaborates. “We want to find the best possible group of people for this project, and a wide range of ages, styles, etc.” That means you! Submission-resumes are currently being received through November 19th at MagazineSubmissionsAreFun@gmail.com.
“Exciting, right?”

I pity the man who wants a coat so cheap that the man or woman who produces the cloth will starve in the process.

Threadless Tee of the Day: Marion Cromb’s terrifyingly terrific “Zombie at Tiffany’s” tee has been wisely greenlit by the fine folks at Threadless and is now available for purchase.
And I said, “what about Breakfast at Tiffany’s?” / She said, “BRAAAAAAAIIIINNNNS.”

Is this considered passive aggressive or just plain confrontational? Because it’s kinda like a passive aggressive note, but you WEAR it!
(I agree with the sentiment, but am far too shy and scared of road enraged drivers to wear this.)
