Fun fact:
My first job in NYC was at a post house owned by the son of Hildy Parks, who produced 100 Stars as well as many of the televised Tony Awards. He owned the rights to Night of 100 Stars, and also to the Tony Awards, of which his father was the producer. Digibeta clones of all the show masters were stored in house.
As the dub room tech, I spent hundreds of hours dubbing copies of these shows. Clients would often see me dancing and singing along to show tunes as they passed by the machine room on their way to and from the edit bays.
My boss got the LULZ from it.
